PROJECTuition was initiated by one of the groups in our club.

​

We partnered with Viriya Family Service Centre to tutor lower primary children who are struggling academically in school. In the course of this project, we went down to the centre twice weekly over a period of six months. This experience has taught us how to deal and interact with children who have different personalities. We also tried to help them along academically by integrating interactive elements in our lessons. In the process, we witnessed the passion of the teachers there, who not only dedicated much time and effort into taking care of, teaching, and disciplining the kids, but also maintaining a friendly relationship with them all the while. 



This was an enriching experience that taught us the value of service and provided a platform for us to reach out and serve the wider community.
