What We Do!

In our club, we try to involve our members in meaningful community service and personal leadership experiences! The following are opportunities that our members can choose to take up through their journey in the club: 

 

(Note: Aside from monthly General Meetings, all other activities are ad-hoc and voluntary so that members can commit more when they are more free)

 

1. Join "Developing Youth Leaders" programme in Boon Lay, in which members will get the chance to

- Meet and interact with students from other schools

- Lead other youths in the programme

- Achieve the National Youth Achievement Award Gold 

- Try for the Singapore Youth Award, the highest youth accolade in Singapore

- Go for overseas exchange programmes and local leadership camps and courses

- Organise community events



2. Organise student-initiated projects (SIPs) in Boon Lay

- Form a team and initiate any kind of service project in Boon Lay (regular service, once-off event, sports-related, food-related etc. to be determined by team)

- Work closely with grassroots leaders

- Projects will be registered under the CE01/03 system in RI, and CIP hours will be given

 

3. Volunteer for weekly Meet-the-People Sessions in Boon Lay

- Hear problems of needy residents and write petition letters for them

​

4. Extra opportunities to organize flagship projects for Boon Lay

- Facelift (Jan), Bring A Hope (May), ArtsforUs (Oct), Countdown (Dec)

- Projects will be registered under the CE01/03 system in RI, and CIP hours will be given



5. Monthly General Meetings  (exact day to be confirmed)

- Updates on Projects and Upcoming Opportunities

- R&R sessions

- Guest speakers

- Bonding games
